| Description |
The ADP and ACP testing eSeminar presents a comprehensive overview to the complex, required testing of 401(k) plan deferrals, matching and after-tax funds. The actual test is demonstrated through examples. Through examples, the correction of a failed test, i.e., the leveling process, is clearly explained. The timely correction of the failure through refund or QNEC is also demonstrated. We also explain the EPCRS correction methods for a plan that is not timely corrected. The targeted QNEC restrictions are covered. The attendee will take away a clear understanding of the behind-the-scenes calculations that the computer is processing after the census data is entered, and the computer provides a pass or fail ADP or ACP result for the test. Topics covered, but not limited to: - Actual Deferral Percentage (ADP) Test
- Actual Contribution Percentage (ACP) Test
- Compensation Used in Testing
- Correcting a Failed Test
- Restrictions on the Targeted QNEC
- One-to-One Correction Method
- Avoiding Testing Problems
